A few months ago, I did a review on the first Aveeno product I tried which was the Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming cleanser. I really like it so check out that review! Since then I have been trying out the Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturiser SPF 15+ and again another great product by Aveeno.
I have combination skin so for a daily moisturiser, I want something that is light on my skin, but moisturising enough as well.
The Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturiser has the ingredient feverfew, a natural ingredient related to chamomile. Great for sensitive and redness prone skin as it helps to soothe and calm the skin.
Aveeno says: With naturally calming Feverfew, a natural ingredient related to chamomile, this light, fast-absorbing moisturizer is clinically proven to calm and soothe sensitive skin and to visibly reduce the appearance of redness in as little as one week. It is oil-free, hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic, and dermatologist tested. Gentle enough for sensitive skin and daily use.
The bottle is a 75ml pump with a twist lock. The texture of this moisturiser is light, and absorbs quite quickly into the skin. It feels smooth and soft on the skin. With continued use this moisturiser does help if you have sensitive/redness and it reduces it quite well. I have redness on my cheeks but they were visibly reduced within a few days. This works well under makeup as well as it leaves the skin soft, so that the makeup glides on (great as a primer for the skin). I love this moisturiser it really is not too heavy and not too light, perfect for my skin.
I would definitely recommend this moisturiser for all skin types as it is non greasy, absorbs well and leaves the skin moisturised well for the day, as well as addressing any redness you may have.
The Aveeno Ultra -Calming Daily Moisturiser is a 75ml pump bottle that retails for $24.95aud, available from supermarkets or department stores.
Have you tried any Aveeno products? Do you use a daily moisturiser?
