Lucas Papaw Ointment review

I had a few tubes of Lucas Papaw ointment that I didn't use for a long time. But a few months ago I thought I would give it a try and now I really like it.

It comes in a 25g red tube or you can buy the 200g red tub. I prefer the tube because it is handy for your bag, car or bathroom.

The website says: Lucas Papaw Ointment has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties and may be used as a local topical application on the following.

Minor Burns, Chafing, Cuts, Gravel Rash,Minor Open Wounds, Nappy Rash, Scalds, Sunburn, Splinters and Thorns also: Temporary relief of the symptoms of dermatitis and eczema.

Papaw or Papaya we all know as a delicious fruit, but the beneficial qualities of Papaw greatly aid the skin.

Lucas Papaw Ointment is made in Australia from pure Australian papaws.

It is an antiseptic ointment with a texture that feels like thick jelly, I like it because it is not too sticky. I have used this on my kids when they have a rash, or dry skin and it works really well and quickly too. For me I use this when I have dry cuticles or dry skin on my heels/elbows and it works amazingly. My husband uses it when he has a burn or a splint and he really likes it. I have heard lots of people use it on their dry lips as well.

It has many uses and is really convenient to have in the house. It can be compared to Vaseline, however I don't really like Vaseline as it feels sticky to me. I also like the tube that the Lucas Pawpaw comes in as I don't really like products that are in a tub and avoid them if I can.

I usually buy the Lucas Papaw ointment tube from department stores or supermarket for around $5 aud.

Have you tried the Lucas Papaw ointment? Do you use a ointment that is multipurpose?
