Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator review

I love Estee Lauder skincare and have been using their products for a few years now. I was lucky enough a few weeks ago, to be chosen as part of the facebook trial team to review the Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator.

It is a serum that reduces the look of uneven skintone - such as redness, acne marks, sun spots, discolouration and gives your skin a brighter and illuminating look.

Estee Lauder says: In just 2 weeks: 62% of women showed a significant improvement in skintone in a clinical test. Over time skin looks noticeably clearer and brighter, vibrant and more even-toned. This intensive, yet gentle oil-free serum features powerful technologies to address the look of every key sign of uneven skintone:

1. Triple-Optic Technology provides skin with a brighter, more luminous look from the very first application.
2. CorrectTone Technology visibly reduces uneven skintone in 2 weeks, while anti-oxidants help prevent its re-appearance.

Imagine skin so incredibly clear, even-toned and radiant, you have nothing to hide. Proven gentle and effective for all ethnicities.

My skin type is combination and I have uneven skintone - redness, acne marks and discolouration.
I trialled the Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator for a few weeks and I must say I am impressed. The packaging is very classy, sturdy and has a pump. It feels amazing on the skin, absorbs really quick and my skin feels soft an gentle. If you use too much of this it can leave the skin feeling oily, so a little is all you need.

I used this morning and night as per the instructions. After cleansing I applied this serum and then put a moisturiser on top. After a week, I felt that my skin was starting to become more brighter and even-toned. As the weeks went by there was more improvement. Definitely I can see great results from using this serum. My uneven skintone has reduced, not completely gone but definitely better than what it was before I started using this product.

If your after brighter and even skintone this may be right for you. The Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator is recommended for all skintypes. It retails for $105 for 30ml or $150 for 50ml at Myer, David Jones and pharmacies. You may be able to buy this cheaper online or buy it when Estee Lauder have gift with purchase offers.

Have you tried this? Do you use a serum?
