Want to treat your blemishes? Burts Bees anti blemish review

Blemishes are something that I deal with every few weeks. There are times when my face is great and clear and then there are days when I get blemishes, acne, pimples around my chin area mainly. A post that I wrote about salicylic acid was to let you know what salicylic acid does to help treat blemishes.
I have been trying out two products that have salicylic acid, that I really like and now use whenever my skin breaks out. I have already bought backups of these products because I don't want to run out of them!

Burt's Bees Purifying Daily Cleanser, is a natual cleanser which leaves my skin feeling clean. It feels like it is washing away impurities and is gentle over any blemishes I have without over drying or irritating my skin.  The salicylic acid, which is sourced naturally from willow bark extract, penetrates pores to help reduce blemishes and prevent future breakouts. It has evening primrose and beet root extracts which also help troubled, blemish prone skin leaving the skin feeling clean. The consistency of this cleanser is runny, you don't need much and it foams up enough to feel it cleansing your face. I don't like the bottle because the product is so runny you have to be careful you don't waste product as it just runs out of the bottle.

Burt's Bees Pore Refining Scrub, I love a good scrub. As I have combination skin a scrub helps to control my oily t - zone. This  is a deep cleansing scrub that exfoliates dead skin cells and the salicylic acid refines the appearance of pores. It is a creamy texture with a small amount of grains that are gentle on the face and I definitely feel it cleaning my face. Jojoba Beads and a natural fruit acid complex, combine to provide a gentle exfoliation, smooth and clearer skin. Its a very gentle scrub and feels great over my blemishes and doesn't irritate my skin. This can be used daily and I usually do when I have lots of blemishes. The packaging is a tube with a clip lid, easy to use, and has a pleasant smell.

These two products are my go to for when I am breaking out or have blemishes. I find they really do help to reduce and treat my blemishes. They retail for $19.95aud each and are available at priceline or department stores.

Have you tried these products? What do you use to treat your blemishes?
