Tangled DVD review and Giveaway (CLOSED)

Heard the story of Rapunzel? When I was younger I knew her as the girl with long hair. So when the movie Tangled came out I was excited to watch it. This movie now is one of my favourites. I absolutely enjoyed it and have watched it over and over again, I know I have a obsession! (All thanks to Disney!)

The story of Tangled is a modern twist on the classical story of Rapunzel. It is the story of Rapunzel (voice over by Mandy Moore) who is kidnapped by Mother Gothel as she wants Rapunzel's magical abilities that are in her hair to keep her younger.

Rapunzel is raised in a tower by Mother Gothel for eighteen years and her hair is never cut and has grown 70 feet long. Rapunzel has dreams, a creative talent and a pet chameleon Pascal. Every year on Rapunzel's birthday floating lights are released from the palace and Rapunzel loves watching them floating in the sky and longs to be able to go and see them, but Mother Gothel forbids her to ever leave the tower.

One day a outlaw Flynn Rider (voice over by Zachary Levi) ends up in the tower and is captured by Rapunzel. Rapunzel makes a deal with him, he is to guide her to the floating lights that she has forever longed to see and she will let him go. Rapunzel escapes the tower with Flynn and it is quite an adventure.

The movie has intriguing, loveable characters that are played with great emotions. Rapunzel is such a loveable character she is innocent and has a beautiful outlook on life, finally following her heart. The storyline is captivating, hilarious and thrilling. The movie has excellent animated motion pictures and uplifting music. My children loved the movie too.
